The image shows just how big population of the world the land mass of India carries. On the bright side, due to lack of basic living amenities (power, proper school, water supply, communication) in the rural/village areas we are seeing shifting of population to urban towns and cities which can only be good news for environment as it leads to decrease in deforestation and preservation of green cover.
